1. Man I miss playing F-18 Hornet on my papas Mac, I was little
   then I use a PC now but I haven't thought of buying it or
   downloading it. Awesome simulator.
2. # of wires depends on age class of carrier, the newer
   carriers use less wires.

9. Actually were told to push to full throttle after hiting the
   deck just incase we miss the wire ;) otherwise I'd be a hole
   in the ocean, so to speak.

17. THe purpose of the simulator contrary to popular belief is
    to give you muscle memory so that once you're ready to
    actually go out there and do it for the first time, and have
    massive amounts of adrenaline pumping through you, you have
    a bit of control and will hopefully remember how to
    succesfully bolt. (jk)
18. Those sims cost a bomb! The heli ones are well over a grand
    (£)!! I want one for christmas too!

20. well, you dont get the g forces or feeling of acceleration,
    and on some models rudder control is disabled, it all
    depends on what model you train with.

23. actually its 5 the 5 one is used for the trapnet.....and i
    do work on aicft carriers
24. He should have been at full throttle when he grabbed the
    wire FYI. Otherwise if he didnt catch the wire he would have
    been fish food.
25. Have a check upon your alpha to aim for the third rope...low
    down your speed but keep the trust respectably high....and
    dream for your GF...thats all about a Fuc**** carrier
    landing!!!!
