- you mean the caller or the guy at the front of the
formation? the caller was aled de malmanche (blonde dude at the back) and the guy at the front is rua tipoki
- 5 stars
- who lead the haka at the start?? mean
- they are civilized.
- why dont the english have a similar war cry?
- LOL that would be amazing
- @DiamondCutter19, that's not really what I meant, what I
meant to say is the Fiji, Samoa and Tonga all have there own war dance or whatever you may call it.
- Wrong.
- Wrong. This is the Maori, not the All Blacks.
- Anyone else see O'Driscoll laughing at it? I think this is
the match, where as soon as it started, 2 of the all blacks ran straight over to O'Driscoll and slammed him into the ground. Class! xD
- @The01Toby Uhm,no,the word "haka"is Maori for
"challenge","fight" or somethin like that ....
- jono gibbs?
- hahahaha loll thats funny
- @deathbybagpipes - You've also got the tonga team, there's
one video here where both teams do it against each other.
Don't know any other ones, though.
- I mean, before the match starts, does each team get to try
to intimidate the other team, or is only that particular team?
- No, original one - the NZ national team got the idea of
doing a haka, and indeed wearing all black from the NZ Maoris (back in the day, the National team wore dark blue). This is Timatanga, the national team do Ka mate, or kapa o pongo.
- @africanangel81 no no no, the lions would be singing DONT
STOP BELEIVING by Glee, lol all in sync going dah dah dah dah, lol
- Respect, from India
- would be so funny if The Lions had gone all GLEE on them and
started singing and dancing to Beyonce's "Single LAdies" lol....yes I am a GLEEK lol
- i wouldve shat my pants if i saw that for the first time
- Well: New Zealand, Samoa, Tonga and Figi all have there own
version, so I guess the answer is yes.
- Is each team allowed to do a chant, or is this strictly a NZ
thing?
- lol Pwnd
- No cocksmoker there's no jungles in NZ...FAIL
- the expression on the faces of the opponents
-------priceless
