2. MGM sold the Culver City studio in 1986 to Turner who later
   sold it to Lorimar. It's now known as Sony Pictures Studio,
   home to Columbia and Tri Star. MGM is now partly owned by
   Sony, so one could call the lot 'MGM' again. Sort
   of... There isn't much left of the studio from it's glory
   days. Most of the backlot was sold in the 1970's and most
   of the props and costumes were thrown out , given away or
   auctioned. Thank Kirk Kerkorian for that.

5. Back in the 20' 30 The MGM Lot was at what is now Sony. In
   Culver City.
