5. Actually I have been around cats my entire life so I know an unhappy kitty when I see one. He was not playing with the leash he was trying to get off of it. That cat was freaking out. Cats aren't supposed to be restrained on leashes, being unable to move freely freaks many of them out. When they can't get away they don't understand why and it scares them. And I don't think they were being mean by putting a box over him. They were trying to stop him from getting tangled and hurting himself.
