- i was wondering what kind of VW engine is this? I want to
build an engine for an old super beetle but i hardly understand anything about that good old fashioned German Engineering (Due to the fact i was born into a Chevy family). So what kind of engine and parts am i going to have to buy in order to get my Super Beetle running with little civics and other imports. Im 17 but ive already done my first build with a little help. Will this project be too much for me by myself?
- Chris, Its easyer if you remove them now. behind it. There
is also one bolt you may not see below and in back of #1 cylinder it gets covered with dirt, look closely.
- must you remove the flywheel and pulley before spltting the
engine case??
thanks!
