1. when this movie first came out ppl where so overwhelmed
   listening to these songs.. Rehman added a whole new
   dimension to bollywood, of course we already knew him down
   south by then..
2. Malayalam would have owned with PRIDE an album like LAGAAN,
   if Rahulraj had scored the music of PAZHASSIRAJA!! But that
   certainly did not happen, and was not the way to happen
   since Rahulraj is not yet a BRAND name, to take up such HUGE
   projects in MALAYALAM! But TIME will make him!
3. AGAIN... Read my previous reply before reading this. Iam
   sending 2 replies on a stretch since this youtube char limit
   suxx!! Wait to see what Rahulraj DOES in Telugu and HINDI..
   U will see LANDMARK experiments like ROJA, RANGEELA and
   LAGAAN!! Do not expect the same in MALAYALAM!!! Plz. And,
   PULARUMO song from RITU belongs to the class of many
   compositions of James Horner! And LOVE KILLS, is a song
   belonging to the mainstream ELECTROPOP genre, with some
   additional JAZZ LAYERING from RAHULJI
4. WHICH ERA are u talking about???? Yes, in the days of
   DEVARAJAN, RAVEENDRAN, DAKSHINAMURTHY, BABURAJ etc..
   MUSICIANS were KINGS! The PICTURISATION depended on the
   MUSIC created by them. And in this nLIST, except
   JOHNSON,every one was a LEGEND!So no director could
   interfere.Rahulraj is a NEW ENTRANT in Malayalam music,and
   he has NO VOICE!! Todays directors(I dont want to mention
   names),intrfere a LOT, and try their MAXIMUM to make the
   music ordinary! One more thing..Iam also a DIEHARD
   RAHMANIAC!!
5. I hope that Rahul creats some great stuff there. I dont
   agree that malayalam directors doesnt give any freedom to
   music directors. otherwise we would not have jems like
   Devarajan sir, Dekshinamurthy swamy, Baburaj sir, Raveendran
   sir, Jhonson sir and soo many. If some body creates
   excellent music, i dont think anybody would say no. Every
   body wants their films music to excel. The problem with new
   music directors i think is they have not yet recovered from
   what Rahman have given years back.
6. The PROBLM is that MALAYALI filmmakrs do not give ANY
   FREEDOM to the COMPOSER. They fear that their picturisation
   wud lose notice if extraordinary music is there. Rahulji is
   a new entrant..He is given absolutely NO FREEDM! He
   certainly wants to do LAGAANs and ROJAs in MALAYALAM in a
   different pathbreaking fashion!But no one gives freedom! He
   has now signed movies in TELUGU and HINDI.Next film is in
   TeluguProduced by KS RAMA RAOthe producer of HINDI FILM
   criminal. A lot of freedom is given there!
7. thank you for the correction yes i meant successor. well i
   am a die hard rahman fan. i worship rahmanji, raveendran
   mash, ilayaraja sir the most may be because of that " Good
   Music" in my sense may differ with others. i have find only
   rare musicians who satisfy the music lover in me. well there
   are lots of "hummable songs" i agree. but difference between
   hummability and path breaking is entirely different i think.
   i am waiting for a Roja or Lagaan in Malayalam. NO OFFENSE
   AT ALL

   this request: My request to you is to STOP composing for
   MALAYALAM films.. Acquire some basic knowledge, and then
   come back to composing!! Please!!
9. Hahaha.... Comparison with Deepak Dev... Well.. If u say
   that RITU songs are not hummable, Music lovers will SLAP u!
   Regarding Chartbusters.. even ALEX PAUL's ENTE KHALBILE was
   a cHARtbuster! (No.1 CHARTBUSTER)!! ARR's UZHAVAN or
   KIZHAKKU CHEEMAYILE were not chartbusters! U mean to say
   that they are bad and not hummable! I didnt CROWN him! RESUL
   POOKUTTY said that RAHMAN had CROWNED him!! And do REFER the
   DICTIONARY for the meaning of PREDECESSOR. U may have wanted
   to use the word successor
10. i dont need superb speakers to decide a song is good or
    bad. yes i have heard that creation by rahul. i dont say
    that he is not talented. but comparing him with rahman? he
    has not composed only "Ammas dream" he has done many film
    songs also. Is there any chart busters or even hummable
    songs among them. His film songs are only as good as Depak
    Dev or music directors of that class. Dont you think they
    are talented? . let give him time to grow rather than
    'crowning him" rahmans predecessor.

    TV... Not me... Resul said that RAHMAN said this abt
    Rahulraj.. BTW, just do onething... TYPE Rahulraj in
    youtube(without spaces), and LISTEN to the tracks called
    LOKAHA SAMASTA and AMMAS DREAM... (If u dont get AMMAs
    dream..TYPE ammas dream in YOUTUBE! Listen in SUPERB
    speakers at high volumes..and KNOW for urself, what RAHULRAJ
    really is!!!

    that Rahman said "RAHMAN claims tht Rahul is is true
    successor" Why are making such false statements man. At
    least dont disrespect Rahman by stating his name with
    Rahulraj. Rahul is a talented musician, but he has to go
    long way before even thinking of any were near Rahmanji.

    never claimed anything like that. And Rahulraj is really no
    any were near Rahman. he is not even as good as Vijay Antony
    in Tamil. First let him compose some good malayalam songs
    then shall he think about composing songs may be a 100 Km
    away from this song

    just think that most award shows related to the media are
    rigged, somehow... some ppl will always win, and others will
    never get the credit they deserve... i guess having their
