- I didn't blame a drug.John made a bad choice to be lazy
about health and instead
self-medicate for mood problems (Help,Nowhere Man,Im a Loser,etc.).Cynthia didn't like LSD
but John paid organized crime for that and heroin, etc., with Yoko.I fault that choice for isolationism with Yoko (Isolation), whether over drugs or whatever else over the years, made by both and not needed for love or art, for his eventual isolation from the band, son, others, and the daughter-in-law
being absconded with.
- yeah he did alot of heroin for awhile. Thats what the song
"happiness is a warm gun" is about. He wrote cold turkey when he was going through withdrawel when he finally decided to quit.
- not actually sure the dates, but it supposedly was up over
$700/Day I think it was right before he started making music again like like 70's or at least when it was all he was doing
- ....he did heroin? when?
- You do know he isolated himself before he started heroin? Do
you realize the mind games Yoko played on him? only weak minded people blame drugs for problems, you act like he had no choice, he knew what he was doing, it seems like the heroin isolated him but only because it changed his attitude, he was "Isolated" way before the heroin
- Paul's song was Dear Friend
- John's real screw-up was that John got into heroin, etc.,
drug use isolationism
w/Yoko that caused Kyoko to be absconded with, John to see Julian once a year
(later calling it once a week on Cavette), not see the other Beatles, etc. Mick
recently said John would hang out with him until John got back w/Yoko, too. It
wasn't just her or love but that Days of Wine and Neurosis isolationism which
screwed things up for John with what could have been John's support group.
- i love harrisons guitar on this and man is lennon not the
coolest man who ever lived
- brilliant first diss song made
- he looks engry :S
- "how do you sleep ya cunt"
that's such an angry moment
- let me roll it.
that is the name of the song.
- probably, but I always thought "Let Me Roll You" was the
MaCartney song that mocked Lennon best.
Mamy years later Paul sang the song as some sort of tribute.
All you need is love.
- The real name of that song is Let me roll it and it was
released after John's one, as a white flag.
- I've heard that there were several before this song, namely
Too Many People and to a lesser extent, 3 Legs.
- Paul's song was "Heart like wheel" where he mimics John's
style
- Too many people.
- I agree
- Haha on a lighter note, George is so gorgeous!
- Haha sorry, that was in reference to someone saying that
George looked a little like Paul at 1:18
- I think both were kinda immature... I LOVE the both of them,
so I can be quite impartial hehe
Well, what I mean is when they were recording Get Back, apparently, whenever Paul sang the words "get back, get back, bet back to where you once belonged" he used to shoot Yoko Ono these scathing looks and she'd get all upset and complain to John.
But yeah, I think Lennon was a little jealous... And I know i'm gonna get thumbs-downed for saying this, but I think that Imagine is WELL overrated.
- Oh my god I thought the EXACT same thing!
I reckon he's a
little upset... I mean, I would be... =(
- All those years ago
- Paul's a cowar, he DIDN'T write songs, he just told
everything personnaly or mailed, and his Wings were a junkee band with stupid cocaine-weed songs with no sence
- Wow.. This is a really disappointing song.
In my opinion,
John and Paul are the best duo in music.
Could anyone tell me the song that Paul wrote as an attack to John please?
