1. HAHAHA I LOVED Von Raschke! I used to try and slap the
   Claw on my sister..god she hated me....oddly enough she grew
   up and trained with Ron Hutchinson LOL
2. This is when they didn't need "undertakers"or "clowns" or
   steroids to bring in the people. none of this body slamming
   onto tacks or falling through the top of cages or dying at
   the end of cables dressed up in some "super hero" costume!
3. The Baron managed the Powers Of Pain when they came to the
   WWF in 1988...but it was a VERY short stint. The Baron
   disappered VERY quickly. But he did manage them.
4. Thought you weren't allowed to punch? (With a closed
   fist) Anytime Bruno or (Pedro Morales) would get hurt or get
   in trouble, they always ended up punching the other guy
   many times. Couldn't they wrestle their way out of trouble
   instead?
5. The Baron was a wildman! I remember when he used to team up
   with Maurice "Mad Dog" Vachon in the old AWA. Boy, those
   were great and wild times.
6. I grew up with the great Bruno, from the days when he beat
   The Golden Boy Buddy Rodgers in one minute. A great star and
   always tons of fun to watch. Bruno was proof that no
   steroids are needed for success.
7. I made my father take me to MSG to see Bruno, around 1970
   against Prof. Tanaka. My father is 81 now and has never

    video on you tube several months ago that showed Baron Von
    Raschke defeating Big John Studd.

13. I watched Bruno as a kid ..he talks about expecting a
    scientific match with the Baron here , in the opening with
    Gene Okerlund. I think Bruno's great but honestly all his
    matches were brawls..with very little wrestling science.
14. does anyone have on film,the match between bruno and the 600
    lbs haystack calhoun where bruno lifted him and then the
    whole ring collapsed when bruno threw him down?.
15. I remember The Baron in the WWF in the late 80s. With that
    hooded robe, he looked like Darth Sidious

17. The Baron did manage the Powers of Pain (Warlord &
    Barbarian) in the WWF for a short stint around '89. He wore
    a druid like gown & hood, which you could barely see his
    face. After that Mr. Fuji took over the P.o.P.

24. actually in the 60's bruno was a great scientific wrestler
    on par with backlund. after a severe back injury and a
    broken neck, bruno used strictly brawling tactics.
25. Maybe since his manager was the Grand Wizard he should have
    expected him to be a brawler. Maybe he didn't watch the TV
    tapings.
