- key of C on trumpet
- He is the Lily of the Valley!
- so nice :)
- ang ganda talaga ng kanta na to. kinanta din namin to sa
church namin sa aniban. . . .
- Really lovely video! One of my favorite hymns!
- I was just trying to clear things up there was some arguing
about Jesus not knowing about the solar system
- what do you mean by that?
- Back in Jesus' time the solar system really didn't matter.
If Jesus' knew that he would die on the cross then how could he not possibly know all about the solar system. He wasn't sent to earth to tell everyone about the solar system he was sent to tell everyone about God and to die on the cross so everyone could have eternal life if they choose to.
- the best way that this song EVER(i am realizing the
superlative i am using) was sung and never will EVER be duplicated is by George Beverly Shea. I don't like some of his rendition but when i hear this song's rendition from him, i just break down. All the honor in that song he gives to God
- robertjordan10000: I'm sorry but I can't tell if you're
using circular logic or just illiterate. The second half of your comment doesn't make any sense!
- I have evidence, but I will not present it to you. "For the
Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness."
- You really think Jesus knew how our solar system works. He
was just so extremely busy doing God's work, he didn't have time to make a revelation about the sun. I also wonder how it is you know these things. Is this just speculation or did Jesus tell you this in a dream? Have you ever considered the non-existence of gods, souls, and afterlife? If not, what empirical evidence do you have for believing such supernatural non-sense?
- Jesus had more important things to explain...
Yes, God does
not revolve around the Church (as the Church wants him to), but God is the center. The sun is a symbol for God (but I do not pray to the sun...).
Most real Christians were persecuted at that time. Galileo was no expection.
- I'm sure you do! It's probably difficult to continue the
mental charade otherwise.
- Oh, just enjoy the music. It's beautiful.
Jesus didn't
tell the Jews about astronomy, but He didn't see fit to talk about relativity, optics, or thermodynamics either.
I personally like to keep my science out of my religion and my religion out of my science.
- Do you frequently talk to God? Does He respond? Are you
familiar with the term schizophrenic? If so, remember that the next time you talk with God. Schizophrenia is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a mental illness characterized by impairments in the perception or expression of reality, most commonly manifesting as auditory hallucinations, paranoid or bizarre delusions or disorganized speech and thinking. Diagnosis is based on the patient's self-reported experiences and observed behavior.
- Jesus didn't explain the solar system two thousand years ago
when he walked on this earth. However, Galileo did explain that the earth revolves around the sun. You're right, Galileo was a Christian, but that does not mean Jesus gets the credit. Are you delusional? Also, Galileo and everyone else at that time did not freely choose religion. Are you not familiar with the Inquisition? People were killed in the name of God for being heretics. Are you really surprised Galileo was christian?
- He did. Galileo also was a Chrstian.
