Comments on 'Kalam-e-Bulleh Shah "Ni Mein Jana Jogi"' |
- Beautifully translated...thanks. same message in present
kalam as " Chirankal yehe Deh Sanjariya....Mil Govind Milan ki teri variya, Aur Kaaj tere kithe naa Kam....Mil Sadh Sang( Pooran Murshid) Bhaj Kewal Naam (Meditation) (Shri Guru Arjun Dev Ji Maharaj) . Dhan hein Shah Inayat, who blessed Sain Bulle Shah with that divine love & permitted him to share the feelings of a helpless lover with common people like us. May Kamil Murshid bless every one with that LOVE.
- Fir bhee galat!!!!!!!! "mera yeh charkha noh lakha kude, &
neoh katdi katdi pacca kude" is the right ONE.
- This sufi song with the simple exotic voice producing a
great rhythm.
- this isn't "ma jana jogi de naal" its " mera i sarka no laka
kure"!!!
- God will bless you with all his happiness, you are great
- God Bless you....
- awesum yaar
- LEJLEJ O HALID BRAVO BRACOO DILIA SAN
- thank u!
- People think attaining happiness of master is easy but it is
very.... difficult...(lokan bhane ishk sukhala eh iskh ni...)
People consider him ordinary man but for me he is most holy or precious thing(lokan bhaye chak mahi da mere bha da makka kurey).
At the end baba bulle shah says that he has seen the truth that his master is GOD (pakka Guru)...(Bulle shah sach kar jaata.shah inayat gur pakka kure)
"Birha birha aakhiae birha tu sultaan"
- A humble attempt:
Kalam by baba bulle shah considering
himself a girl(heer) and her master Shah Inayat as lover(ranjha)
[Worldly love between two famous lovers is used as a analogy to give a glimplse of limitless love between a disciple(soul) and his/her master(GOD)]
By following the divine path (nau lakha charkha), my master have bestowed me with his love.(mera eh charkha nau lakha kure...)
- This guy is absolutely awesome, thanks to whoever did the
translation.I will really enjoy it now even more.
may you have a long life my friend!
- lol.. I am Sikh and my family does that a lot. Baba Bulleh
Shahs teachings are followed in Sikhism..so we know all of these. Actually my grandmother was telling me that when they used to sit in "thirinjanaan" they would sing this song while on the charkha. Pretty cool!
- Wonderful and thank you. It is quite deep Punjabi. I may
claim to know Punjabi but I can not make all the words.
These writers in the Sufi era were people as close to God as you can get and wrote unabashed through simplicity.
Anyone can make things complex only a genius makes things simple.
Just a little rant but wonderful contributions from people out of West Punjab plus Pakistan as there are incredible gems of folk singing from these regions and may God keep this going.
Thanks again.
- awesome. man im just speechless
- well,we dont realy need to understand the words...its just
touching deep in soul anyway..lovely!
- See my translation attempt on following pages...
- I wish some one give brief description of what he song
translation would be better.
- loving this, very good!!!!
- Actually in pakistan we have at least dozen distinct
dialects of punjabi speech.
- It is Punjabi...song's originally by Sufi saint BullehShah

punjabi or sindhi, is it some sort of a local dialect, someone with the knowhow please reply
