    theology!. I grew up listening to these precious songs.

    weird when I was singing, "Are you washed in the blood of
    the lamb?" Lol I laughed then explained. Oh, geez, not you
    flying spaghetti people. My teen is goofy about that. lol

    down--whatever their belief is, even if you don't agree...&
    it seems that is the sole purpose of the "flying spaghetti
    monster" stuff, not something healthy to actually open up a

16. mtriplea : It just makes NO SENSE. Couldn`t he just forgive,
    then we are free of sin too in front of God. Why does he
    have to let himself be killed to atone for our infraction
    against him. I repeat: makes no sense in human terms.

    sin in front of God. We have all sinned and he took and
    currently takes our sins away. Also, we are human and made
    of flesh. So it would be weird of MY father killed himself
    for me. THAT would make no sense.

21. It`s still very strange to me. I do something my father
    doesn`t like. He kills himself to atone for my wrongdoing.
    If you put it in human terms, it makes no sense.
22. Just forgive?... have you ever had to forgive someone for a
    truly atrocious act? It is not easy, it is not something
    that you "just" do. As I said before, true forgiveness comes
    at a price. The one who forgives is the one who pays that
    price. God wanted to forgive us so He sent the Son to pay
    that price.

    makes our plea for help honest Jesus gave a promise to one
    of the two thieves on the cross beside Him confession of
    our sins, one to another, publicly, and crying out to Him
    because you know without His help you are lost

25. Jesus is not a mere human. He is part of the divine. True
    forgiveness comes at a price. God paid that price with the
    blood of Jesus Christ. The only way to the Father is through
    the Son. Repent, be baptized, and live according to God's
    will and Jesus' example. It is the only way home.
