3. AWESOME how-to! I have a 1600 that I want to rebuild and had
   no clue on how to do it. Well, I think I have a good idea on
   how things go together now. I'm sure there is quite a bit
   more to learn. But this video sure opened my eyes to a LOT!

5. When you were adjusting the carb. were you turning the big
   adjustment screw or the little one, or both. What is a good
   starting point for both adjustments, if you screw them both
   in all the way how many turns out would be close? Thanks

11. Thanks, I rebuilt about 4 of them 20 yrs ago. Like you I'm
    reliving those days with my 1974 super beetle now. I for got
    a lot after reviewing your video. Now if we could just get
    some trouble shooting video's from someone. How to stuff.

    engine start up from the first try after full rebuild .... i
    will keep your all vedios to reasseble my 1600 bug engine
    which i already disassembled it and it waiting for new spare

    turns to the carb? that lamp is for the bobiene...

    knew from the way you built this on it would start the first

21. quik question anyone know a good water cooled or air cooled
    dont matter engine 4 my baja? i would like 1776cc or
    higher...im asking something like an engine thats like volvo

23. Dude i have been in to beetles and campers since i was 7 but
    no one explained the beetle engine rebuild so well as you
    have, i have watched all your videos on this engine and i
    now feel i am ready to take my beetle and rebuild a new
    engine my self. You are a truly great engine builder and a
    better teacher, hope to see many more videos on how to fix
    the lil other problems around the cars!!! Take care. Turbo
24. The what nut ?
25. It runs butter smooth and would have started with a crank if
    it had a place for one. You mentioned spinning it over
    until it had oil pressure. You may have mentioned it
    elsewhere but I missed it. What is the normal oil pressure
    for that engine, and since they are of an older technology
    should you use good 30W or a multi Viscosity? Thanks
