Comments on 'MGM - George the Lion, 1956-1957' |
- He looks like a really angry cat.
- someones been at the hair straighteners
- i wouldn't want somebody else's hands on my stuff either.
- he's got a toupee on lol
- Because the background is a rather bright blue my friend.
- Why does it look like Bob was pasted onto the frame?
- WB can't keep their hand off of them-they own them due to
their ownership of Turner Entertainment Company, which brought out MGM in 1982-83. I know that it sucks, but that's how it is.
- BOB!!! My favorite one!
- I agree. Pretty ironic, considering the fact that Warner
Brothers and MGM were at one time decidedly fierce competitors...
- that video is not too bad too.
- no he has a heavy mane
- two thing:
1: the last roar sounded like a howl
2: there
names are al-marah 1st and tasti moshe 2nd
- His real name is al-Marah nicknamed Bob.
- Why did they replace this lion?
- Yeah now Warner Bros have their hands on the likes of Ben
Hur, Get Carter and who can forget, Tom and Jerry. Got nothing against Warner Bros but they should keep their hands off all MGM films.
- No he is wearing a toupee
- I feel sad that bastard Ted Turner got all of MGM's movies
from before 1986. That was the time MGM made classic stuff.
- no problem, grossies.
- It's Bob the Lion!
- But the sound and the lion aren't.
- this looks fake to me
- Nah, he's just had electroshock therapy.
- Well, I'm sorry, but this version of the MGM Lion frightens
me.
- Wait, it isn't.
- Cad.
