- i feel we all have to push our sacred bodies to the absolute
limit only to pursue the greatest; with that in mind who and what is greater than god? Surely not man or man made dreams, so, what would you push for? What would cause you to go all out and sacrifice everything for, if not god? The answer is for purity of your soul. If you strive life long for this, you will get eternal time to see god, to be with god, and to coexist with god.
- Faith is not to be blind...as many of us are taught this is
where you might be struggling. Read Hebrews 11. Faith is the belief in evidence of God. EVIDENCE. Once might ask what evidence? God says seek and you will find. If we pray and ask He will answer. The question is are we looking for him. Are we asking for Him? we must go to Him like a Father. Does your father Help you when you ask? Our heavenly Father says to do this. Give it a try. Start asking God? And expect an answer back.
- This is really well done and it reminds me to always keep my
focus on God, which I always need to be mindful of. I can definitely relate to this.
- I agree it can be hard to believe in. I do believe but
sometimes i find myself wondering what if hes not. But i guess i just have faith that he does exist. I will admit sometimes i dont feel like ive completely givin my life to him. Mostly cuz of the fact im blind and i dont understand how awesome that it is he died for me and every one else to have everlasting life. I want to change but im haveing a hard time. i would say im not moving away from go really more in a neutral position.
- When I first saw this I was instantly caught for once I saw
a drama that the message was immediately clear. My friends did a wonderful job with this skit. I must sadly admit that this video is indeed my testimony. Glory to God for His love. I honestly desire to serve Him alone. Glory to God and thanks to the Him for the ones who took the time out to do this and publish it. Your time was well spent. Thank God for other believers.
- WOW!!!!!!!!!
- If I were in a courtroom, charged with murder and the
prosicution for the case aproached u and asked u if u saw me commit the murder and u assured them that u had. They then asked u to write down everything that u had seen. Every fight i was in with the deceased, every argument. U then came back with a book of ur eye witness testimony (several hundred pages) and my defense attorney couldnt discredit u. that would b a hard blow to my case (continued)
- (Continued) well thats proof for Gods existance. We have a
whole bood full of eye witness testimony. People who have seen God firsthand. So, tell me, if there is even the slightest possiblility that God exists, shouldnt u find out. The only way to truly find out is to trust in GOD!!! I have really enjoyed r conversation sickJLSrecords. If u have any questions or conserns, I will try my best to answer them.
- perhaps ur right, perhaps God cannot fell torture like we
can. I dont believe thats true however as scripture tells us that God is sad when one of us does not live according to his word. Sadness is one form of pain so, God can feel pain. Even if He couldn't, ur forgeting (or maybe u never new) that when Jesus came to earth He did so as a man
- @bigfin1307 I appologize if I sound overly aggressive, that
is not my intent. My intent is to engage in debate as to the existence of God in a civilized manner. My goal is to try and understand the concept of God and all he/she stands for, in a way that I may once again believe as I did when I was a child. The way I believed in Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, etc. God is difficult to believe in, when you rely on logic and common sense.
- @bigfin1307 I don't think god can feel torture like we do.
If he exists as the bible says, then he is all-knowing. If god has known everything that has or ever will happen since before the beginning of time (I'm assuming god created time as well), then he's known the outcome of is son's death. He knows how everything is going to end up. Torture is a petty human experience that god invented for us and us only. Why else would he create us in the first place...was he lonely or something?
- @sickJLSrecords Also God the Father could have interviened
to save His only Son but, didn't. How great must Gods love for us be if He would be willing to take that kind of torture. Personally, I would rather b burned alive, I mean, 5 minutes of excruciating pain or excruciating pain that last for several hours until ur body is so tired that ur lungs just quit. As far as the spear in the side, scripture tells us that blood and water ran from this wound. that means that He had given all His blood.
- @sickJLSrecords U are exactly right God knew what the
outcome would be. Most parents who send there children off to war, do so with the hope that they will come back alive and that they will not b hurt. God knew that if He sent Jesus to the world that He would have to suffer and die. In my opinion, that is much worse. And true some people have suffered more painful deaths that Jesus did on the cross but, the difference is that Jesus met His fate willingly and did so for us!

CHRISTIANS OF THE WORLD! THE FINAL WILL OF GOD IS UNITY,
LOVE AND HOLINESS!
End ChristenDOOM! Leave your churches, no church=no division. Just be perfectly holy: restrain yourself from expressing evil; guard yourself against all filthy influence outside. Be love: help for free, give for free!
.
- Reply to TheMyc2009 continued: On top of the wondering if
your loved one is OK, we must also endure the pain of being helpless...God on the other hand is all powerfull and therefore was never helpless during his son's death. Also, countless people have died far more agonizing deaths than the death of Jesus Christ portrayed in the Bible. Many of those people probably didn't even die for a good cause. I'll take being nailed to a cross and stabbed in the side by a spear over burning alive any day.
- TheMyc2009, if Jesus and God really exist in the way the
Bible describes, I would asume that God probably would have felt as any caring loving parent would feel, sending or watching their child head off to face evil, etc. Similar to parents who watch their sons & daughter head off to war. With one huge difference, God knew the outcome and therefore didn't have to worry. We mere mortals must endure the agonizing torture of wondering if our loved ones are OK.
- There's actually a hispanic gentleman in I think Florida
that believes he is the second comeing of Jesus Christ. However, he also thinks that he is the blood descendant of Jesus, meaning he is a distant byproduct of Jesus Christ's procreation when he walked the earth.
What's worse is that he already has a few 100,000 followers. Who knows, what if he's right? I think he's crazy, but that's me!
- I agree stoning a child would be horrible. Imagine how God
felt when he crucified His own Son because of sin? How his son took the place of every child that was stubborn and rebellious. Something to think about.
- This skit is very emotional its so hard not to cry lord god
help us stay strong for you !
- I've been struggling with my faith lately and this just
opens my eyes to so much that Christ does for us. ♥
I can't help but just bawl when she's trying to get back to God.
- (cont. response to sickJLS). 2. Its evaluation. That each
man might say, in evaluating himself, "I wonder if I could have done something to have helped that child?". That boy would have been in their communal family, in their community. They might have left that place wondering if they could have or will later on step into action to help that child out who needs correcting. Ever needed correcting and wished someone would have been there to tell you not to go down that proverbial road?
- Pretty radical huh?! Heres why - 1. Its motivation. The men
who were to cast the stones most likely knew the child to be stoned. It would motivate them to go and raise their child(ren) in a way that was not going to lead them to the same fate. (Imagine if we followed those rules today. We probably wouldnt have rebellious kids running around like we do today disobeying their parents all the time. And Im including those up to the 18 yr old range, or still living @ home)
- this song gets me every time
- Your Bible also says that stubborn children shall be stoned
to death by his fellow citezens."Thus shall you purge the evil from your midst." Deuteronomy chapter 21 18-21. Maybe this one's a keeper. I don't think anyone's going feel good about stoneing a child to death, it would make me sick.
