    sewer construction has upped our water bills to where less
    than three percent (3%) of the bill actually pays for water.
    If you multiply the water portion of your bill by 35, that's
    what we pay. I'm one person in a house with no garden. Being
    handicapped, I bathe twice a week. Still, the bill is
    between $120 and $170 per quarter, with most of it going
    through my laundry room, washing towels and specialized
    clothes.

24. that was nine flushes, at 5 gallons each, that's 45 gallons
    down the drain. Well maybe not quite since the tank didn't
    have a chance to fill up each time.
