19. You're responding 2 Zellieth right? You do know he is talking about REAL LIFE TOURNAMENTS! Various Street Fighter games are favorites at tournaments around the world. MK however is rarely (if ever) used in tournies. In-game story ISN'T IMPORTANT HERE!

21. the reason why it is not public is because in order to fight in the mortal kombat tournament, you have to get invited to participate. only the best are chosen, not the wimps who think they are powerful and fuck over the relms. mortal kombat has the fates of many relms decided in each tournament held 1 in every generation, street fighter in a yearly thing where people sign up to join, sounds pretty gay to me.

23. I like MK, but that's not true. MK has NO tournament publicity whereas Marvel vs Capcom, SNK 2, and 3rd Strike has had plenty of publicity. They hold yearly country wide tournaments down in vegas and LA. What has MK got?
