- nice vid will be clear if you explain it step by step
in
order to learn
how did you do
thanks
- Vw N.1!
- like an upside down 4 cylinder lycoming or continental
engine. pretty cool.
- thanks alot, but i just bought the engine alone, its a
1200cc from 1964 and the drive pulley has no nut on it...(they were made like that..)
i have a blog with a few pics..
vw-plane.blogspot. com
- prolly need to lock the fly wheel with a crowbar to stop it
from turning over, or have it on the ground, hand break on, and put it in gear.
undo the nut then try and tap it off (genitally, a rubber hammer helps ALOT here) if that fails, a gear puller might help u
- Gear puller?
- any idea on how to remove the drive pulley? i have no idea
what tools i need to take it off...any help?
chris
- its a good song.. i like it lol
- Hi, it's called 'On a Journey' by DJ Lee Harrison and
Neotenic - dates to about 1999.
- i like the song.. what song is it?
- did you put new heads? or did you paint them
- Take the bolt out disconect the wires put the new one in.
- Check your points. they are inside the distributor.
- Any suggestions on starting a 1300 that wont start,, it did
for 10 seconds then it just wont start!
No fire coming out of the coil, brand new coil or the old one!
- SWEET!!! Great job. Love the new color :)
- At the base of the fan cowl there are a pair of
therostatically controlled flaps which direct the cooling air as required.
- how do you get heat in a bug? if it's cold how would it stay
warm?
- how do i replace the distributor on a 73' super?
- a m.f. niiiicceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee nice nice good job!!!!!!!
- sembrano 2 motori di 500 fusi assieme
- I don't get it, why would the fittling come off of the carb.
Arent you supposed to put the filter befor the fuel pump, then from the fuel pump to the carb? Why would that cause the fitting rom the carb to come loose?
- soundtrack should be Kraftwerk Autobahn
- acutally Captharvey they were never put there by the factory
cos bugs and busses never even had filters just a mesh gauze in the tank. until 73, even then they put them under the fuel tanks away from heat
the extra weight of the filter pulls the brass fitting out of the carb and sprays fuel everywhere and they can shatter under pressure when old and brittle... thats how fires start
- Yeah, the fuel filter placement is fine I have always had my
filter in the engine compartment, Fires are caused by other reasons, no hoseclamps and the top fitting coming off the carb, where the fuel line comes off. The german engineers put the fuel filter there, so it works for me.
- Good job!
