7. I have listened to most of the Versions of Challa...both
   from India and Pakistan..it was difficult to find..there are
   more Indian singers to do that...but No one...No ONE came
   closer to Gurdas Maan...it is not a happy go luck song..and
   Gurdas Maan understood its essence...thats why Challa is
   always recognized to be sung by Gurdas Maan...even though
   its a folk song
8. Who in turn acknowledges Alam Lohar as his idol, so is he a
   wannabe Alam Lohar? Arif Lohar has just inherited his
   father's traits and is not tryina be anyone.
9. This is punjabi folk belong to both India and pakistan. Folk
   song Kisa da nahi Hunda.

    matter who the original singer was, Pakistani or Indian,
    shaukat ali sang it the best out of everyone!

    exactly the same, throw you own spin on it. But challa is
    not exactly supposed to be a happy up beat song as far as i
    know. lol

    song,,,havent you seen his filmm,, cnt remember but it has
    raj bubber in it,,,so i think u should chek it out then say
    what u want,,this song is mashed because he has a weird
    voice and he doesxnt follow the original rythm,,,makes me
    want to hate the song
18. this song originally sang by reshma from pakistan but after
    her it has bin sang by many singers pakitan & india gurdas
    mann has done a pretty good job on it.

    CHALLA was sung by RESHMA BIBI 60-70 .and then other singers
