- friction from the rings
- How come the cyclinders don't slide off the black when you
rotate the engine from one side to the other. Do they just stay on from friction?
- No head gaskets or sealant required on aircooled VW motors.
There is a VERY thin paper gasket that can be installed between the cylinder and the case, but I've seen many builds where they get tossed in the garbage. As for the heads, some people install a copper "ring" in the head where it mates with the cylinder, but usually only in bigger CC engines.
- how engine could be work with no head sealer, how it held the
pressure ? ..also u did not attached any gasket ,mean oil will leak ..
talk about this please.
- Hope she fires right up for you. Let me know when you get
the video up.

I've never done the actual build
of any of my many motors, but you gotta know THIS IS IT, the heart of any Type I motor being assembled ........
frik'n sweet to watch it being done ...
this is just beyond me ........
everyone knows someone who actually builds-em ........ Sweet !

cylinder heads?
