1. depends on how low the amputation was - if she had a symes
   amputation that would mean there was a sufficient
   weightbearing surface but then again even if she could itd
   be uncomfortable because she'd have a leg length discrepancy
   and would have to bend her trunk sideways to ambulate.

4. I feel a tremendous sympathy and admiration for this poor
   woman! Imagine the difficulty of living without any elbows
   or feet! You can see the prosthetic foot if you look
   carefully. Can she stand on the right leg without the foot
   on?
