   probably in reference to the club called "crossroads" at
   peace cross. it was apparently a family restaurant by day,
   and a home of the best local and distant talent. rb
   apparently played there quite a bit.

   county, seconds away from washington dc. at peace cross,
   still stands the building formerly known as the crossroads.
   all of the greats have played there. danny gatton, roy
   buchanan, roy clark. it predates me at 40 years old, but my
   dad, uncle and cousin have told me many stories of plenty of
   beer and watching phenominal talent.

18. What memories! My husband used to play with Roy, and at the
    Crossroads (tho' not at the same time). Roy & my husband
    looked like twins, they became so close, he and his wife, 6
    kids. Roy was pure talent... nothing touches him.

    wont bore you - Anyway; for those who have commented on the
    Tambuorine Man; I think he may have popped up again on a
    recent RB video from Snakestrethcer called: 'My Soul Went
    Down Last Friday/Roy's Bluz' - check it out (added this
    week); longer hair & identical mannerisms! + recorded c.18
    years earlier.
