- hi ....do u know the song or movie name of noor jahan
....kiun mari gayi hy teri maat sajna jo lachay nu pay gy waat sajna maa meri ny guat puat chadni jay lachay nu pay gy waat sajna
- omg I love this song...I've been trying to find out what
movie it was from for long time!!!
thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
- That is really sad, because most Pakistani Punjabis believe
that Urdu is their language while Punjabi belongs to the inferior peoples of Pakistan and the Sikhs and other minorites. One cannot claim a language. I wish that Pakistan starts to teach Punjabi to its youth before it is completely forgotten there.
- Pakistani government recognizes Punjabis, because government
is run mostly by punjabis, that's one reason i can think of. Other than that, things are not very good in Punjab itself. People don't speak punjabi with pride. In Punjab Assembly Lahore, they speak Urdu during session, Punjabi is not taught in schools of Punjab as a language: not a good situation at all. We need to work hard on that.

- Nice songs but there is one song towards the end where the
guy is gropes the womans' breast! WOW, didn't know this stuff went on in 1960s Punjab Pakistan!!
- I agree with that, the Pakistani Government recognizes the
Punjabis as a distinct people and culture. While the Indian Country tries to suppress the Punjabis by religious and cultural cleanings. But no, we are to proud of our heritage to be suppressed. Maybe the best decisions is for a Independent PUnjab. But maybe one day still, the two Punjab's can be two distinct states but without boarders, but it is impossible. . We are after all the same people. God Bless.
- sorry but Punjabis will never leave Pakistan, maybe the
Indian side of Punjab can join Pakistan..Punjabis have a major role in Pakistan.
- Punjabis in Pakistan speak both Punjabi and Urdu, its good
to know more than one language.
- I am both Pakistani and Indian Punjabi and I have never
visited my mother's ancestral home in Pakistan. We don't even know where it is other than the City/Village it was located in. But it makes me proud to see that Pakistani Punjab's still hold on to their Punjabi Mother Tongue instead of adopting Urdu. God bless, maybe one day East and West Punjab will be one again, a Punjab without any borders. :-D
- nice song i'm going to steel it :)
