1. one of those rare muso's who gived me goose pimples when he
   rips it up. unbelieveable what this man could do to a
   guitar. he seemed such a humble fellow too. still my fav 30
   years later.

5. Jeff Beck was very open about borrowing from Buchanan,
   Hendrix less so. I hear a few bars of RB in metal solos and
   his picking/volume techniques are copied all over. As a
   guitarist, among many greats, Buchanan is unequaled.
6. Excellent. They broke the mould when they made this guy.
7. Roy Buchanan was the best ever guitarist in my opinion, but
   funny how this second part of the blues has the same tune as
   Sneaking Godzilla Through the Alley, just as Baltimore has
   the same tune as The Messiah Will Come Again. This shows how
   Roy tried to get the same song in 2 different songs, if ya
   know what I mean.

9. he played Malaguena with vibrating strings fast as lightning
   in 1959 with NO hands.the audience was on their feet in
   bellmawr,n.j. niteclub on U.S. 130 !!!!!!!!!!!!

11. This man is a genious. I wish there were more of his songs
    online and in stores.
12. I just read some Roy trivia at another RB youtube song. They
    say he used to spray his strings with lemon pledge for just
    the right amount of slide. Does Johnson and Johnson know
    about this??? lol

    other songs, he's awesome
