4. LOL!!! This is funny. It really doesn't matter how any of us
   feel about any "major" sport. The owners down to the players
   and trainers and everyone in between are happy all the way
   to the bank. I myself am first and foremost a football fan,
   with basketball a close second, and baseball tightly in
   third. I also love track & field sports as well.

    to the average person football is far more exciting, but
    there's nothing more exciting than a walk off bomb. anyways,
    all sports take athleticism and arguments could be made for
    any sport involving the most athleticism but who cares. go
    cards, and i hope the rams finally make a good draft choice
    this year...

    baseball does take some amazing athletecism, but no where
    near football, or even basketbal lfor that matter, and I'm
    not a huge bball fan, Baseball does takes some phenomenal
    hand-eye coordination, more than any other sport other than
    a hockey goalie mabye, but honestly, Ice Dancers are more
    athletic than alot of baseball players, I mean hell, Babe
    Ruth, David Wells, Matt Stairs, Cecil and Prince Fielder,
    Kirby Puckett, Jon Kruk, tony Gywnn

    baseball, but it does not hold a candle to football.
    Football is a sport that you can sit down and watch a whole
    game even if your favorite team isnt playing... I'll be
    damned if I'm gonna watch the rays vs. orioles, but I'll
    gladly watch the browns vs. jaguars because football is sooo
    much more exciting....Also, take into consideration I'm from
    St. Louis where the Cardinals are a favorite to win the NL
    again, and the Rams were an amazing 1-15

    the ball. the offense hits it, misses it, lets it go, etc.
    theres 4 scenarios: 1) the ball is hit and goes into play or
    is fouled out. who made the initial force? the defense. 2)
    the ball is missed a total of 3 times in the batting
    sequence. who made the initial force? the defense. 3) the
    ball is not swung at. who made the initial force? defense
    AND FINALLY 4) the batter is walked due to 4 balls. who made
    the initial force? .. the def.

    any strenuous physical skill/push involved 2. half the game
    a player is just standing there 3. no one ever gets hurt
    playing baseball.. and RARELY are there 18 inning games,
    stop embellishing baseball like that. oh NO a double header?
    well golly you might have to run a couple more times around
    the small baseball diamond. try being a runningback or
    receiver in the NFL and take the hits that they take.

25. i think people who say baseball is boring don't really know
    too much about it IMO. i think baseball takes more
    athleticism than any other sport with the exception of maybe
    hockey...don't bitch at me this is just my opinion ( i side
    with baseball because i play in college and have played for
    16 years but i also played football for 11 years)
