1. @makeupjoe1 Agreed. This is performance art on a large
   public scale. The comments below about children being put
   off by this may be right, but I would guess they are not
   solely the intended audience.
2. Its beautiful!..People just doing this!!..the creative
   spirit. How can you not love it?. People can be so amazing.

4. Little children are scared by these ugly monstrosities, by
   the time they are about 8 they feel they are too grown-up
   for such stuff & feel patronised. The whole psychology
   behind this kind of 'entertainment' is peculiar. These
   people must have lost all memory of being young! It's really
   a form of cruelty. I once helped out at a puppet festival. I
   knew my son felt this way. The volunteer I was with said his
   daughter, too, found puppets scarey.
5. Small children are also afraid of Santas, clowns, dressed up
   people in general. Any parent will tell you this, yet these
   people aim these things at children. It's very odd this
   creepiness!
6. Why are puppets almost aways ugly and creepy? The same goes
   for animation like Polar Express! I have yet to see a puppet
   that I didn't find creepy, children feel the same. Are
   puppet-makers the toss-outs of the arts?

9. Fascinating! Leave it to the French to create this Girl
   Giant. There used to be real giant humans you know. The
   music was very good and appropriate... except the end
   talking part which was a unnecessary addition.

22. So... a few months back I mentioned in a comment that "if
    you think she's big, you should see the Big Daddy that looks
    after her!" Well, in her latest show in Chile, she was with
    a new puppet... one in an old-fashioned diving
    suit... Anyway, if you thought she alone was enchanting, I
    would advise you to check out her newest story. It too is
    simply amazing!
