- hahahah that animation has very poor running posture
- the arms aren't supposed to cross the body, this figure has
poor form.
- Hi. Aprox by the year 2020 a laptop will reach the human
brain potential for processing data which means that there is a huge market waiting for hundreds of billions dollars to be sold or invested in humanoid robots and intelligent systems and the beginning of the bigger industry ever maid in human history. Search on Google luisbeck007 you will find the most complete humanoid robot list in the World, good information and interesting issues.
- I thought the arms aren't supposed to come across the body
so much for effcient running technique. The hips and legs seem good though.
- His arms and scapula's aren't doing the right thing in the
walk. Looks like he is shrugging.
The run looks very nice though.
- a professional runner simply doesn't shake arms like that
- Look closely. That's Keanu Reeves in 'SPEED'. Sans clothes
and the skin. Ha Ha Ha!!!
- Hey, I think the run is looking solid. The walk might need
some love though.
- Hey I do 3 miles now and I have to pace, nothing wrong with
that I see unless u want to compete for like marathons.
- dude no one gets cut from cross country team if u r bad or
anything. you only get cut if ur bad if ur like a senior or a junior, cuz most coaches dont want to wast time training a slow junior or senior when they could be training a freshman or sophmore for the future
- like an insecure football player at our school lol.
- hey do you think I'll be able to compete. I can only run 2
kilometers max and in 9 minutes. I can probably run 5k if i pace myself. school training starts in two weeks. i train hard on weekdays and rest hard on sundays. any help would be appreciated.
- yeah not lettin da arms cross da body is more effective for
runnin efficient but crossing da arms is also good for body toning and strengthin side muscles- but whatever the casual runnin feels more comfortable in i guess
- the run is so much better than the walk.
I personally felt
the walk animation had the arms swaying a bit too much, and a bit too far to the outside.
- piece of advice...you need to study the mechanics of walk
and run frame by frame. I've animated in feature films for more than 20 yrs now. If you want to be a good animator, simply study. The internet is a very useful library nowadays. good luck
- true but most people do run like that
- A good runner does not let his arms cross the middle of the
body because that causes a lot of side to side twisting motion which not only wastes energy but also makes one run slower.
- but the walk is jerkky.
- Very nice!!
A couple things though: The feet don't seem to
lift off the ground that much - too much drag. The running cycle is great except maybe have everything such as the hip swivel a bit more exaggerated to look less stiff.
Great work!
- hahahahahahahaha whats the point here??? thats a whole
muscle man!!!!
- nice man :)
- This is very good. The composition is very well done.
- What is the source of your confusion? I think it is an
attempt to highlight the muscles activated in running... only it's showing all of them... it doesn't show which ones are working more for example.
- ???
