Comments on 'MGM LOGO SPOOF - BusterBear Studios' |
- Buster is so adorable :D
- Thanks! I make all types of videos, not just 3D movie studio
intro spoofs. Of all my work, I decided to post just the movie studio intro spoofs on YouTube just for fun.
- Cool but can you make any Videos instead of Intros?
- The animation can be done in just about any decent 3D
software program. To tell you (in detail) how I actually made this shot-for-shot is way too complicated to explain in a forum like this, and I'm sorry to say that I don't make tutorial videos. I use about 6 to 8 different software applications to create my animations, which is explained under the "more info" section. Thanks for watching!
- how do you make it?
- THANKS! His name is Buster. But, his nickname is Buster
Bear.
- so cute! whats ur pugs name?
- hahahah
- THANKS!
- lol looks great :D
- wow
- THANKS! It took about 10 minutes of raw video to capture
that perfect moment when Buster finally worked up his frustration and "scolded" me back with that infamous growl of his. That's what he does when we tell him, 'No'. He also does this thing where he "growl talks" in lengthy, pitch-changing moans as if he's telling us off in full sentences. In his mind, he's definitely "saying" many words in a row. It's hysterical to hear. I just tell him, 'I've heard all this before, and I'll look into it.'
- Oh man, one of my pugs does that same throaty "growl" so she
can get someone's attention. Great work!
- good jod ugly dog
- THANKS! Good luck with your productions!
- I say 4 education use a lot! Great job!
- My videos were produced some time ago when I was educating
myself in the study of 3D animation. They were not made for YouTube as "educational" videos to train others. They are now being presented here as inspiration for other 3D artists and anyone who enjoys this sort of thing! A great way to "educate" yourself in 3D, is to try to accurately re-create and creatively spoof an already existing work (I chose movie logos). Software Used: KINEMAC-3D film strips, MOTION-particle effects & compositing
- you say 'produced for educational purposes' However I
didn't learn anything from the video, just left me with lots of questions, like what packages you used..

(less)This is a spoof I made of the famous MGM movie studio logo. The name "BusterBear" in the title is derived from our beloved family dog, Buster . . . his nickname is BusterBear. He's a purebred pug! When making this and my other movie studio logo spoofs, I decided to use him as the spoofed studio name.
PRODUCTION NOTES: It takes about 6 to 8 different software applications to create each of my animation videos. Each application has its own specialized function (3D modeling, 3D animation, texture creation, photo manipulation, particle effects, motion tracking, multi-track audio editing and sweetening, compositing, final editing, and video conversion / compression).
DISCLAIMER: BusterBear Studios is NOT an actual studio. This video was produced for educational purposes in the study of 3D animation, compositing, and special effects.
