- still the man after all this time!!!
- i bought livestock in 1980, 14 years when i really started
practicing the guitar. i very clearly remember being mesmerized by roy´s playing. i simply fell in love with thoe violin swells, those screams tele bridge pickup bendings. roy, one of my major influences.he was too good.
- Livestock is Theeee Album. it is a must buy-Roy at his VERY
best!!
- Gatton got a lot fron Roy, but I like Gatton the best. Roy
is one of the greatest ever. Keep listening to him---he sneaks up on you.
- Roy master guitar player, but "HORRIBLE"...vocalist! Roy's
voice was always weak and distracting. I really liked Charlie Daniels as vocalist,..as well Dilbert Mcclinton.
- livestock is a must have guitar album "roy's bluz" is
stunning
- A true original master. More versatile than Hendrix or any
of the EVH/G3 clones out today. His invention and touch were immaculate.
- Anymore live vids of this...?
- Yeah it's good, though I don't like the other vocalist.
- R.I.P. roy your one of the best blues player...thanks for
posting this.
- My favorite Roy Buchanan song!
(lee32Uk..I think you could
have uploaded it as one file youtube accepts videos up to 10:59 seconds...just that you know if you want to upload something long again. thanks!)
- Damn. This guy knows how to embody some damn eerie, soulful
sounds in his guitar. Amazing.
- hehe, just listening to it right now.
- Buy Livestock, $7.99 will change your life!
- You can hear a great version of this song on Roys Livestock
Album.
- WOW!
(this should be released in the shops)
- TONE MONSTER---plus the man could pick!
- Oh jeez, Roy had a knack for excellent tones, just superb
playing! Thanx for the vid
snaker
- I would see him any chance I could, but most always at
Jonathan Swift's in Cambridge Ma. I'd wait up to an hour before the show, sometimes longer, just to be able to sit at a table in front of the stage. He was one of a kind and certainly a gifted artist, it's a shame there aren't any commercially available vids to be had
- Wow. Tremendous. The chord progressions and scales he's
using are just absolutely soul soothing. Roy's tone & technique was simply brilliant. Another one that has left us way too soon.
- Wonderful. What a brilliant player always, but also such
delicious tone. I saw him at the Crossroads in Bladensburg, MD in the early 70s. One of the highlights of my life.
