- Please study the principles of Bernoulli and the 4 forces of
flight, THEN you can make an intelligent comment.
- The fan is on wheels, and if a fan on wheels does NOT move
when under power, then it is not doing its job of moving air!
- This Advertisement for the new Honda Accord was shot in real
time with no CGI involved in the sequence. It required 606 takes and cost $6 million to shoot and took 3 months to complete.
- awsome
- jaja, incredulo....
- they say this was the costliest commercial......if it is
then they have justified themselves
- hmmm... You do know this is all 3D right?
- who wants to trade a 1999 honda civic with a 2008 honda
accord!???
- Wow, and no cgi!
- Amazing!!!
- wooooooooooo fantastic....
- now that was seriously good commercial :))))))))))))
- Sorry, I'm not convinced Honda uses an AIR-FOIL for a
radiator fan...thus, the fan should have remained stationary. If they do use an air-foil, fine...however, if not, your class needs to review the Bernoulli principle for starters.
- Sorry, I'm not convinced Honda uses an air-foil for a

- and you know this because...??
- The tires have weights in the sides of them so when one tire
hits another it causes the weights to pull it down which makes the tire roll up the plank to hit the next one. The wipers have a cord running from them that is connected to a battery, and the door is held up between the two planks and it has wires running from it to a battery that you could see if you payed attention, and rolls down with the ball thing hits the switch.
- The way tires rolled up the plank, shows its fake, how can
wipers run without a battery? How can window slide when the door is hanging without any connection to the battery?
- its the power of dream allright!
- Exactly :)
- info from the wiki article (srch "cog commercial"):
"It is
in fact two one-minute chain-reaction sequences, carefully set up on opposing walls of the studio and stitched together, the join being at the moment where the muffler/exhaust box rolls across the floor (this can be seen by watching the floor pattern change). The advert took 606 different takes to complete, and only minuscule CGI was used, for lighting highlights and slowing down the motion at one point".
either way, so awesome.
- It took 606 takes, and $6 million. It's all 1 shot, and
there are no special effects. This commercial is ART!
- I promise it's all real, we had a discussion about it in my
engineering class. Aparently it took over 1000 tries to get the commercial exactly right. The tires at the incline have weights in them, its obvious by how they roll. It isnt fake or edited. hard to believe....but true
- It's real, search hondacog on snopes
- lol ya i was like wtf
- thats sick, but fake.
